Gao, thanks. That's a problem for me. When short shares are hard to borrow, I like to short the max and box most of them. Based upon what you're saying, I won't be able to do that at Cybercorp. If the short runs up, I may not be able to borrow more shares to average my price.

Jut wanted to verify one of your comments;

having short position, then buy button disable.

This should not be the case. If you are short a position, only the SELL option should be disabled, not the BUY. Please let us know if you are indeed experiencing any such scenario. However, you are correct in that we do not allow both an account to have a simultaneous short and a long position on the same stock in the same account. If you first go short and subsequently buy, the buy transaction simply covers your short position. We hope this information has been helpful. Please let us know if you have any questions.
