Well with all the resources and experience within companies like MS and Sun, their servers still get hacked. So you really think some bank or engineering company is going to play around with source code and feel secure?

Their is no benefit to MS in opening the source code.

ed: What did you do panic and sell your stock? W2K will be a great success and give MSFT a great increase in the enterprise market share. Linux is not a heavy hitter. How many large sites operate on Linux? When China has the need for heavy duty software they will choose between MSFT and ORCl. They will probably go with MSFT just like Ford, Prudential,HP,IBM, DELL did in their networks. Once again get a grip and stop the panic. JFD
