Microsoft Reiterated by Lehman

Lehman Bros. reiterated its Buy rating on
MICROSOFT CORP and its price
target of $130. The Windows 2000 product line is
the company's first
serious competitive offering in the
UNIX-dominated enterprise market.
They stated that a server running Windows 2000
and selling for $150,000
can compete effectively against a UNIX system
that costs two or three
times as much. There will only be modest impact
from Windows 2000 this
quarter -- the material impact should begin in
the June quarter, with
acceleration increasing into fiscal 2001.
