Well, it's good to know these things...I had never heard that before...

I can relate to being a kid and having pain be a grooming deterrent.

I've had near butt-length hair all my life...when I was around 7 or 8, I developed a large MATT in my hair...LoL! Right in the middle, back of my head...EEWE...but I hated to brush the hair...PAIN! I played with the boys...football, army, making forts and diggin' in the black sandy dirt in the field behind my house...the hair got neglected.

[edit: I was filthy, most of the time...I would pour the black sand out of my shoes when I went inside, apres play, but eventually learned to avoid the pain by maintaining order by brushing, combing, soaping and sudsing-]

So, I can see your point...maybe warm water, no soap, would be more comfortable...I've seen the sinkrinse work well and expediently...and frankly, he didn't look pained, but who knows...?

I'll take your word for it...I'm glad I'll never have to make that call.

Maybe we should start a circumcision thread...get more opinions.

-just a thought.

Fascinating...
