If TERN's technology proves-out, the red ink will vanish.

BTW, last time I checked, ATHM (your recommendation to Jill over TERN siliconinvestor.com was flowing in red, too...

ATHM- For the 3 months ended 12/31/1999, revenues were 128,753; after tax earnings were -723,010 (in thousands) with 380 million outstanding shares.

TERN- For the 3 months ended 12/31/1999, revenues were 38,665; after tax earnings were -18,958 (in thousands) with 21.8 million outstanding shares

Do the math... on a per share basis in a stock that has 18 times as many outstanding shares as TERN, ATHM's $34 price doesn't look so attractive now, does it?
