We tried a bunch of them here one night.. I had nothing but trouble with them... I think we tried netzero and altavista.. There was some others also.. They screwed up my network settings.. Had to go through a change them back.. I never connected at more than 19k so it was a real step down from my usual 51k or 53k connection with ATT. That was a major complaint I had.. I think if you do a full text search in classic si on this thread you will find our conversation. The new site only searches 3 months.
