We tried a bunch of them here one night.. I had nothing but trouble with them...

I think we tried netzero and altavista.. There was some others also.. They screwed up my network settings.. Had to go through a change them back..

I never connected at more than 19k so it was a real step down from my usual 51k or 53k connection with ATT. That was a major complaint I had..

I think if you do a full text search in classic si on this thread you will find our conversation. The new site only searches 3 months.

Hi,
I have used Net zero netzero.com for about a year and had no trouble.I use it when I go out of town and have my lap top.I like my local ISP so I don't have much choice, unless I want to pay long distance.I have also used it on rare occasions when my ISP was down.There is a banner in your face all the time but you can drag it to a corner.Its great for getting on line when you don't have a connection .... the price is right $00.00 .
