Mj is a national treasure. We need to put her on Mt. Rushmore, I mean it. NExt to- umm- who are those guys again? Well, Put her in front. My sweet husband came in with a dozen red roses, and he and Ammo swept me off to our favorite restaurant- Esparza's- the one with the marguaritas to die for. Trust me on this. We had a wonderful dinner. Ammo loved the conversation so much we couldn't leave. We were talking about morality, and war and STUFF. APparently he had had a sub this week who was a Vietnam vet and Ammo asked if he could talk to him after class about what films were really representative of the war. the man was most gracious. Anyway,that got us into the morality of war. Boy. it was over my head. But Dan did a commendable job. I'm always amazed at what he knows. So now Ammo is upstairs writing, and Dan is on the front porch smoking a cigar-- (I'm not sure why) -- and reading one of his multi-inch books, and I am here.. thinking about how damn lucky I am. Yup- you and me have done good.
