Miljenko,

Thanks for your opinion.

Incidentally, that's where I have all of my portfolio. Whenever one of you guys come up with one I haven't seen yet, I take a look and sometimes I like what I see. If so, I pick up a few thousand shares just to keep me looking.

So far, I've always built a portfolio based on wanting a particular item - like hot water for my little grass shack - but now I'm reaching the point where the money isn't going to be needed for routine expenses for some time so I'm trying to look further out.

I'm not building my children's college fund; I'm working on a perpetual educational trust for my children, their children and so forth. My own will get a one-time seed allocation; the rest gets put away in a trust. And for that I have a very long horizon. Besides, like you, I'm European and we tend to have longer horizons because of our cultural background.

And if my descendants cannot be educated, someone else's will be. I have yet to find a better investment than education so that's my ultimate goal.

Thanks, Torben
