Actually, there are quite a few elements that conduct electricity better than gold or silver, unfortunately they are radioactive and cause instant death or exist in normal space for only a few milliseconds outside of a particle accelerator. :)

Coby, although silver has the best conductivity gold is preferred due to the " noise" factor -pickking up signals it shouldn't must like telephone cross talk. Silver is good for solder but you don't see it used a lot unless there is no worry about corrosion. I asked my buddy about and he knows more than BGR believe or not . I know it is a rare person indeed those who know more than BGR -g- ho ho ho Mike
