If you choose to compose and produce music and then distribute over the web via MP3 along with many others, this is not piracy.

If however, one rips a copyrighted cd into an mp3 file and places on the web for others to download, this is piracy.

There are numerous instances of both on the web.

"Meanwhile, Texas Instruments unveiled a new generation of digital-signal processor chips that work up to 10 times faster and use as little as 15 percent of the power of the current DSP standard. The new chips can combine voice, video and data. This will allow new wireless Web appliances, which include mobile phone and digital music players and cameras, to maintain a constant link to the Internet. Shares of TI jumped 7 13/16 to 141 13/16."

If MicroOS were embedded, surely it would have been announced as well. Yet, this won't put the ongoing rumors about MicroOS embedded in TI's DSPs to rest.
