On Bank Acquisition : I'm not at all familiar with this area however, intuition tells me this move goes beyond getting into bank coffers. Online banking - on a global scale - 24 hour access and transfers between trading account and bank account, attractive credit card and loan interest rates offered based on in-house accounts, currency exchange, and won't there be a second fee collected by the bank for the bond deals?, In one of the past news articles a bank license would be another step towards its ``online financial services mall.'. Me thinks there is the sweet smell of an IPO.
