Lightfoot, regarding your questions. . .

I don't follow Island trading much, so I am mostly unfamiliar with the way it indicates. . .it reminds me too much of Level II, which I find mostly useless.

On QCharts, the trades in black will either say "Form T" or "Out-of-sequence". The Form T trades are from ECN's including Island. . . however, I don't quite understand the out-of-sequence trades. . .I don't believe they have NO significance. . .but I am unsure of exactly the significance they DO have. . . . they seem to come in groups during heavy short activity. . .perhaps indicating covers of shorts. . . in other words, since the sell precedes the buy the trade was "out-of-sequence" from the price shown. . . .so often we'll see the out-of-sequence price a few dollars above the current price. I currently treat them as part of a short trade, since I rarely see such, during stealth accumulation.

I don't think out-of-sequence has anything to do with the time of the trade. . .as some believe. . dismissing their importance. . . but I cannot find any definitive word on QCharts or elsewhere. . . perhaps someone can send me a link to an absolute definition of these "out-of-sequence" trades.

I know Island reports on QCharts, but I don't know what reports to Island. . .it appears to me that ONLY Island trades show there.
