foobert: Exactly the point I was making. Reviewing code is one thing doing it over such a huge program is absolutely another. I have gone back to code I have written and couldn't figure out why I had written this way or that. Of course the guy who started this rumor is the idiot on Bloomberg Radigan who has a hard time reading his lines much less understanding what the other guy is saying. It is interesting that he said this what Gates said off camera after the interview. In any event opening up the code is fraught with all sorts of follow on accusations i.e. MSFT didn't give us all the code, we can't make sense of it without their help, their is a demon hiding in the copy they gave us, etc. JFD
