Sap - It is a number the media has decided to use based on a bunch of folks - Like I said - I suspect that when the numbers are twisted it is correct as they include the clown who takes $50k and buys a computer and starts trading and a month later is broke and quits. And ZI think there a lot of those. As apoossed to us in the trenches learning through experience and making money after some persiods of time that were not always that lucrative

Sapper.I agree.I think the statistic is skewed somewhat re daytraders. One thing I have found of late is that there are people on this thread who are taking position trades over 5 days and are still hyping them or pumping them. The rules say 5 days. There are all kinds of opp's out there and one does not have to keep pumping their own positions like has been done with ALV.V I remember how long ago it was .35 and that is why I am saying this thread has lost it's ideals.
This was set up as a daytrading or position trading thread with posts no more than 5 days or it was considered a long term hold.
The meaning is lost and if people are so worried about daytraders losing money then follow the pumping of the dogs but don't get left holding the bag when they have moved on.That is happening right now and I have been around long enough to see it on these threads.

Good Luck and good trading.

The Osprey

PS-Guess that is why alot of people are heading to talkstox.com ed's site as they are tired of the hype for the pump and dump.
