slacker: Yes, TI may be focusing on WCDMA - but that is at least 3 years out. What about now? What about next year? What about 2.5 gen? Still seems like TI will be limited to supplying GSM and TDMA and whatever may be added to them as bandaids such as GPRS and/or Edge.

And it is abundandly clear that WCDMA will require use of the Q's patents. To the best of my knowledge, TI has no access to those patents - no license.

So this is still a puzzlement to me.

Best.

Re: Transition of "Qualcomm Phone "Store" to Kyocera

A few days ago I bought am accessory for the QCP 860 at "The QUALCOMM Store" on Qualcomm's web site.

I revisited the site today. "The QUALCOMM Store" no longer exists. in its place is a link to the Kyocera Wireless Corp. Accessory Store (formerly known as "The QUALCOMM Store").

The site looks the same, my registered log in still works, but the Kyocera name is substituted for Qualcomm.
