08:27 ET Oracle (ORCL) 58 9/16: Company will be holding a press and analyst conference in NY at 1PM ET; specualtion on the street is that the announcement will concern the Oracle Lite database product or extension's to the company's wireless access applications.

I think this is where Oracle tries to jump on the GMGC bandwagon and tag along in our slipstream to new highs. I think that sort of stock manipulation via another's success is pretty low, but we all know how Larry E got to be so rich.

Wishful Regards, Mark

Back Into GMGC On Juno News

When I saw the news on Juno, I got back in. I was surprised to find GMGC down for the day. I guess it is just the general NASDAQ blood-letting.

The accumulation of eyeballs (well, ears then), especially when done under one's own brand name, has been the road to riches for many a web firm.

I just checked Excite and found no problem there as it still says, "Excite Voicemail is powered by magicTalk?, from General Magic, Inc."
