I am from India. Enough said about my knowledge of gold use in jewellery.

That said, by that logic, GAP and Old Navy are value stores, too, eh? I thought that fashion always requried a higher risk premium than the market average, and stores of value have no risk premium. Is this new Economics at work, making fashion-driven gold demand a store of value?
