The Marrying Millionaire taught FOX TV execs a lesson, according to today's Washington Post. They were getting ready to re-run the show very soon until the revelation that Millionaire Boy had been a wife-beater. Company execs are quite embarrassed. "Entertainment Tonight" has already sent flowers to his TV-wife saying they would be interested in her side of the story.

Other news today, according to the Post, is that he's only worth $2 million and lives in a "modest 1,200-square-ft. house with two broken toilets lying discarded in the backyard." ....and describes himself as a real estate investor and motivational speaker by profession...... LOL

Laurie, like the Romans watching the gladiators. Maybe that's next. . . .

Executive Producer to game show writer. . . "how about if you play out that scene where the loser gets thrown to the lions. . "

Road Rules and Real World are already similar to the European Voyeuer Game Show model. . . . .not a very big step away. The kids are driving totally drunk. . .all over the road. . . and the MTV cameras are just following behind.

I still like "Greed". . . its like playing the market without the market. . . I can't help it. . . I get a kick out of seeing these groups of contestants work their way up to $100,000 or $200,000 then instead of walking away, they think they can answer a question on some ridiculous topic like "Foreign Talk Shows" or "The History of Marine Biology" or "Early French Films" . . .like they are really going to be able to correctly answer those. . . .they have a handsome sum of money in their hand one second, then greed takes over and they walk away with nothing. I'm yelling at my TV. . . you numbskulls! What makes you think you know anything about that topic!!

LOL!! If it wasn't for Fox and HBO, I probably wouldn't watch TV at all.
