Well, the guy who interpreted it in the article I read said that it's a goad to VIA and whoever else is coming along with DDR chipsets to increase production, that it made Intel cancel 3 motherboards, and is making PC box makers look for alternatives. The gist of at least that one interpretation wasn't good for RMBS, so perhaps I don't understand that point well enough.

But the Playstation II seems to have so much potential that it boggles the mind. Now if only MSFT's 'X box' actually turns up and uses RMBS. So far it sounds very weak, which is all the better for PS II.
