Zoltan,

I didn't take offense, but rather I have seen the wealth this industry has created and am impressed. Its not like it used to be (1950-1985), but it is still very profitable on an individual level.

People always complain about how much automobiles cost. I know why, and to be honest, its not for the best reasons.

Recently a friend of mine was given about 50K because he wanted to move to a different state. When they (one of the big three) could not accommodate him, they just paid him off to avoid a lawsuit. Seems about a dozen women in his division were given more options. Bad policy and you and I pay for it.

Market valuation and the worth of hard assets is a discussion best left for another time and thread, but I am inclined to agree that there are some serious imbalances. We have single companies with market caps equal or greater than the GDP of some small countries.

Look forward to this evening. Have to go make cars now.

TH
