As the weather this past week was generally colder than the same week last year in much of relevant areas of the country we probably will have a good draw excluding any other factors.
Next report or two may not be as good as the weather last year was normal to below normal the next week or so.

I have sifted through a number of long term forecasts and they are all predicting warmer than normal weather the next 1 to 2 months.
The NAO is not coming to our rescue this time. While it looked promising recently it has reversed strongly and is now well into positive strength with no signs of coming back soon. Temp forecasts for the US show most of the country including the NE staying above freezing through the week with absolutely balmy highs forecast.

Perhaps its just as well we have a warmer spell given the political 'climate', this takes some pressure off of OPEC and the politicos. Keep some powder dry and make some good lowball buys (my current OSX philosophy).

Like George's post indicated, I don't believe OPEC will open the oil floodgates, they'll just give a trickle more to be politically correct and the OS stocks should do very well, in time, with the oil price above the low 20's.

Best Regards,
