In (some of) India, they talk about ascending through a red shower, like a waterfall. The waterfall feels like a shower, but it's light. And this washes away certain bodies, or "characteristics."

Well, I'm going upstairs to take a shower, and I'm taking it with me.

PS: Lutyens, incredibly enough, designed a beautiful allusion to this "place" in The Capitol Buildings of Delhi. Quite progressive for an Englishman to even understand its existence; let alone imagine it and represent it. Honor it.

The poetry of it must have struck him.

He built a huge staircase internal room, with a fantastic circular opening in the roof, an oculus; and water falls from around the rim of the ceiling into the room. It seems water and light have combined and are falling from an opening in heaven.

A portal, into the open sky.

<<Anyhow, lately I've been thinking... what if we don't actually "die" when people say we "die"... Maybe we've got the whole thing all screwed up and wrong...>>

That's been bothering me. What if a spark of conscience still lives? A friend was cremated recently and I wondered if he could feel it.
