JDN, >THERE YOU GO AGAIN. Some Analyst!! Boy that says a lot. You know very well there are a lot
of loopy analysts out there. If he made the same comment about INTC what would your reaction be?? Plus,
consider the source--twister--not exactly the most reliable SUNW reporter

Jeez, I finally got to you. Just kidding, wasn't trying to. Still, it's about time someone questioned Sun's valuation and seeming untouchable status on top of the enterprise server, dotcom and the network is the computer BS. We've seen that their hardware is way low in price/performance compared with Intel based (one third as good from the last posted benchmark. Admittedly just one, but they all run that way.). We've heard they're not really that wonderfully reliable either, in spite of the legend that says they are. But somehow, they have a huge valuation without that awesome of a growth rate.

Also, twister sounds very credible to me. You and most of the Sun thread don't care for him because he's anti-Sun.

Here are some growth rates and PEG ratios for some big high techs (data from S&P via Charles Schwab):

Company Growth Rate % PEG ratio
SUNW 21 5.7
INTC 19 2.7
EMC 31 4.1
CSCO 29 5.8

CSCO? There's only one Cisco.
