There is no independent board, some tracking stocks don't
have voting rights (go does), and maybe a few more basic
differences.

Negative impact -- none that I know of. But you should
really consult a corporate finance person.

They can do M&A as usual - because one of the strong reasons
cited for having a tracking stock is to float a new kind
of currency.

Wonder why Netpliance was taken off the GNET home page (up near the top)....and haven't seen any advertising of it there for a bit either.....hummmm

Also, didn't several houses give GO.com a buy or better rating.... is that the kiss of death???? Maybe we should shoo them away if this is what their ratings mean.....
