(ie lower resistance, thus lower power and lower heat, thus laptops!) I wonder how hard it would be to integrate the Gemini technology into spitfire. hmmm :) Thanks for the information, Epinephrine

Kash, Ideally, I would like to see the Spitfire sooner, but I would be thrilled if AMD got out of Socket 7 business ASAP, and also away from Slot A based chips to Socket A. I think the regular K6-2 is dead meat against Celeron, and Coppermine 128, and so would K6-2+ be. AMD targets Spitfire to Celeron-level market, so we can expect Celeron-level price. Initial speed - 600-700 MHz with 750 MHz by September. Power - 1.5 V. I wonder if the initial speeds are limited by marketing, or if there is a technical problem limiting the clock speeds. Joe
