It really doesn't make sense to teach adults while they are sitting on furniture designed for children. So many of us have bad backs, trick knees, sore feet, we deserve more consideration! At least my bottom is well-padded enough not to need a cushion, a lot of people are very uncomfortable sitting on a hard chair without a cushion. I wonder how much of the discomfort your students feel has to do with REAL discomfort?
