I agree wholeheartedly, in fact it shouldn't be forgotten that the article had to be revised because of Johan's mistaken assumption that Willamette would have two ISSE execution units. But after rereading that article I have come to a better understanding of the issue and to the conclusion that his numbers are theoretical architectural numbers based on documented information and the only way that they could be inaccurate is if Johan is wrong in his assumption that Willamette will still only have a single issue FPU or that it will only have one ISSE2 execution unit. My real question was regarding Johan himself though. I was always under the impression that he was almost universally well respected by this thread. Was I wrong?
