The new site looks great! You can't help but notice a couple important buzz words when you're logged on to the site: &nbsp&nbspOnline and WWF.
&nbsp&nbsp&nbspTHQ's Web site redesign is being launched in advance
&nbsp&nbsp&nbspof the company's first foray into online gaming.

I especially like the sound of "online." The industry has been trending in that direction for a while; even the traditional toy companies like HAS are claiming a piece of the OnLine pie. And the fact that THQ revamped and relaunched the new site before the release of WWF Online tells me that they are anticipating big demand/traffic?? I think the WWF theme will be HUGE for THQ.
Personally I'm not into TV wrestling, but that won't stop millions of fans from looking into the latest WWF games from THQ.
WWF Online (Working Title)
THQ's online strategy game, developed by newly acquired THQ subsidiary Genetic
Anomalies, is scheduled to release in Spring of 2000. WWF Online offers fans
head-to-head and multi-player matches where players can direct the moves and
counter-moves of their favorite online Superstars in a quest to achieve the
ultimate goal: the online WWF championship.

Seems like good news to me.
