Looks like one of the P&F short term indicators (the BPHILO) will be reversing down today....things ain't looking overly bullish. Also broke some key support levels on the SPX.

Oh yeah, and a grub

Bobby,

We had two Vix reversal buys today.

1. Vix made a 15 day high and the close was below the open.

2. 5 day RSI of the Vix signaled.

Bobby, a shooting star in the VIX is just another way of saying that a hammer has occurred in several indices.
it would be great, were it not for this:
CBOE overall put/call ratio: 0,47
you could argue that we have seen 40's readings for quite a while, but that is in itself an anomaly.
my conclusion: it may be a bottom, but very short term and probably not really durable.
as someone else has remarked previously, the "VIX=30, BUY" reflex isn't going to work forever...:)

regards,

hb
