Eric,

Regarding, A single click does nothing. A double click (or a right click) enters a trade. I want to simply be able to set the price. Likely both qcharts and cyberx would need changing for this to happen., try this...

In QCharts, in the On Line Broker setup, enter "0" as the default number of shares. Then when you send an order to CyberX, it will NOT enter a trade. The symbol will be transferred to CyberX and CyberX will default to the *CyberX default # of shares*. Then you can review the order and execute it normally with CyberX. Works pretty well.

Regards,

Dan.

You then receive the 'must short 1/16 over inside bid' error message

That reminds me of another issue. Does an uptick really need to be 1/16? I've had several times where the ask is only 1/32 over the bid and I cannot place a short at the ask.

Since I'm on the topic of issues: When are the profit/loss calculations going to include commissions?

Eric

You might be interested in trying out our CyBerX 1.6 version, which is currently in Beta. With the most recent Beta version of CyBerX 1.6, which will be available tonight, you will be able to double click on the QchartsL2 and this will load the price and stock into your CyBerX. It will not, however, route out an order, which is what you are currently experiencing. We hope this will be a more user-friendly function. If you are interested in trying out our CyBerX 1.6 Beta, please contact our Trader Support Department.

To answer your question, yes, the short offer price must be 1/16th above the inside bid. This is an NASD rule. Let us know if you have any additional questions or if we can be of any further assistance.

Sincerely,
