If I might interject: puddle lights...very cool!

uf, how about the interior amenities?
Radio: does it automatically turn itself up at louder engine/surrounding noises? This is a neat little feature my wife's car has (Audi). And her heater maintains the same temp in the cockpit, whatever is set, automatically. The blower in my car has two positons, full heat and off. I keep the windows down a lot in the summer.

And another nifty discontinuous innovation: BMW offers, on the pricier models (?SAV option), a passenger's side rearview mirror that tilts down to show the curb whenever the car is placed in reverse. I thought for sure this would be a real hit for other auto manufacturers. Maybe it was only offered on BMW's because of the extraordinary cost of replacing one of their rims.

>> Can anyone get us back on track - any new SUVs?

No but I'll be happy to prattle on about Nancy's new Mountaineer. Did I tell you guys it has puddle lights? This could
be the suv equivalent of a discontinuous innovation; lights placed on the bottoms of your outside mirrors that
illuminate the ground as you exit or enter your vehicle! Think of how many times you've dropped your keys and had to
light a match to find them, or stepped in a puddle as you jumped out of your truck.

Just to bring the two OT discussions together, I should mention that the new Power Macs have those puddle lights also.
