I'm dissapointed, but not yet discouraged, by Gemstar's performance in the market. The idea (or fantasy) I am clingling to is that they are waiting for the merger with TV-Guide to be final, and then they are going to crank up the publicity machine, and show people why they need they guide, and make me a zillion.

Don't understand why everyone is so surprised by the price action. The stock can't go straight up with all the uncertainty concerning the FED and the DOW's precipitous decline.

The fact that GMST continues to stay above its 50 DMA is impressive IMHO.

May drop to low 60's which would be a gift.

Once the uncertainty in the market is removed GMST will be at new highs.
