My wife went for the Explorer Limited. Kinda like the base Mountaineer <g> model. What sold her on it? The stupid tissue box holder in the center console! buck's prediction: that tissue box will be refilled once, and maybe twice.

Like the commercial says,
"A High Life man knows a station wagon when he sees one."

Of course, she's as happy as can be. There is no price to great to pay for peace in the valley...

Frank, did you know that Nancy?s SUV would not exist if it were not for CAFE? The drive to market these vehicles came from their lack of government restriction on mileage. They don't count on the Car Companies mileage restrictions. This, plus America's desire for a big car, made the Car Companies market the hell out of them.

Now we have a nation full of "Soccer Moms", who don't even step on dirt, much less drive on it, driving these monster, high-mileage, SUV, s, and driving the guys at the Government transportation department, nuts.
