OK,

I'm in Connecticut. Leading ISP is SNET, recently acquired by SBC. SNET offers very limited DSL coverage - mostly around the big cities. They are also pushing ISDN. AtHome is available in some areas, mostly around Hartford, but not in my town.

CHTR covers part of the State; Comcast, CableVision and Tele-Media other parts. DISH and DIRECT TV also available.

CHTR has recently completed extensive upgrades to the system. Upgraded lines in the street, better programing selections, digital cable TV with improved picture and sound plus video on demand, some kind of WebTV for $4.95/mo. Pretty impressive for a small Connecticut town.

Happy Investing
