Kvā€˜rner has been getting out of the ship building business and selling off shipyard assets for about a year...nothing new there.

It is very miserable weather in Oslo today...The Dog longs for Texas.

Slider, re KEG, as you know I like KEG. My thinking is that the current quarter numbers will positive surprise, maybe a big surprise. KEG is in the right spot for today's oil patch business and should be experiencing pricing power and higher utilization of assets. Remember, it was late 1999 when they were 'turning down work' due to lack of capacity. The 4th qtr numbers were good, but only inlcuded a portion of 'the good times'. Since then, business is getting nothing but stronger, so I hear.

As good as the 1st qtr may turn out to be, 2Q00 will be the 'we showed you the money' qtr.

I bet KEG looks good from a technical view. But since I know little of such things I would appreciate learning what others may think. I see good volume, steady growth, and a recent consolidation period. It looks good to break what looks like resistance in the 9-10 area.
