Buffett could have capitalized on this tech frenzy but thinks that over many decades, his decision to not participate will work out.

I think to a large extent this decision has already worked out. How does his annualized return compare to the S&P500 by now? Still way ahead I'd guess.

Howevere, if we see Berkshire buy some Yahoo shares, that would lend an unexpected vote of validity to the "new economy".
