Supposedly, Windows has it's own equivalent of PSN, something that is unique and is generated during installation.

It may actually be harder to get around than the PSN. If you wanted to do something funny, you can just buy the lowest end CPU for $50, plug it in. It shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

But would you reinstall windows on a fully configured computer, if I offered you $50?
