at least the tobacco companies mfr a product that does harm consumers, even if they are not forced to buy or use it

I've smoked since I was 17 and I'm knocking on 50 now. So far, so good. I enjoy it. I've paid plenty in state and federal taxes (part of which go to support tobacco growers) and if I croak at an early age, the government will save on the SS Ponzi scheme payments that they won't have to pay out to me. Bottom line, if my lifestyle choices are stupid, that's my problem and no one elses.

Maybe after the 19 State AGs lose their case against MSFT on grounds of monopoly status, they will try a genuine "harmed consumer" approach

Oh no, the DOJ and 19 States will prevail in Jacksons kangaroo court. The whole gig is rigged. The arbitrary and ambiguous nature of anti-trust "laws" ensures that. The "harmed consumer" approach is one that the blood sucking class action trial lawyer leeches will use in their attempt to rake in millions on behalf of the poor exploited consumers.

JB
