Hello David,

Here's my two cents. I think the general consensus among makers of portable electronic devices is that "batteries will never have enough capacity". Even as they manage to reduce the power consumption of their products, longer battery life will always be a major goal. If something will run for a week on a present-generation battery, then two weeks on a new battery is even more desirable. So I've never looked at the reduction in power consumption of all those gizmos as a hindrance to Valence's ability to sell all the product they can produce. JMO, of course.
