Microsoft's Final Argument™: The Microsoft (MSFT) antitrust trial, which began in Oct. 1998, came to a close Tuesday. In its final arguments, Microsoft asserted that federal copyright law shielded its software practices from antitrust laws. Judge Jackson disagreed, comparing Microsoft to Standard Oil. Not a good sign.

And, of what relevance is that considering that they are of two totally different architectures? RISC chips which outperform CISC are often slower clock speeds. The only thing that tells me is that there is more potential for growth in the RISC chip before it runs into technology ceilings.
