Sorry, too late to edit. I meant to say in the short term believe the TA!

Are not Rambu$ scientists, engineers, management forging
ahead with follow-up and second generation memory designs?

Wouldn't this/those newer designs (Rambu$1) be marketable
in two or three years, [or less] about the time you indicate
earnings from Rambu$0 start to flatten out?

Is Rambu$ a one dog/pony show?

Enquiring minds NEED to know!

Many errors in your assumptions, Ian, as always:

1. Tax rate is too high (and/or margins too low)

2. Ramp up will occur faster than you project

2. Dataquest says DRAM market $100 billion by 2003

4. Ignores communication devices ($150 billion more)

5. Royalties on controllers and other non-DRAM products higher than 1.5%

We have a $500-1000 stock on our hands (in your case, knees)

May I add that your estimate, posted earlier this week, of a high of 173 for RMBS for the year demonstrates both your biases and your misunderstanding of these valuations, and the impact of a heavy short position.

Interesting, but your your conclusions are no better than your assumptions. You do not have any visibility out at years 5, 6 or 7.
It is unlikely that Rambus will have PE's of 5 to 15.

:)
