Thanks Jay Dreifus for bringing the next 10 feature to my attention. I will use it, as I find the "Bob & Thread" with no follow up subject descriptor very frustrating and too clubby. It's okay maybe for somebody only following SNDK or a few other companies. That's not me.

Your solution appreciated.

Jay, Seems like people are clamoring for a unifying standard...

...and they don't think one company should be rewarded for all of its innovative technology and work to bring unification amongst OEM's. That just ain't American.

I'd like to lobby for one particular opportunity that's staring the industry in the face: the simple, standard memory card. It could plug in to the data-capable cell phone you may buy next year so that you could download songs off the Net. It would plug in to the solid-state Walkman you might get for Christmas. It would even plug in to the digital camera you got last Christmas. You'd buy these little cards like the commodities they ought to be, in shrink-wrapped packages at the supermarket checkout.

Maybe Sony is to blame for all the confusion. They are the ones promoting a duplicative standard. For what?
