SVNX--->Motorola takes equity stake in 724 Solutions NEW YORK, Feb 23 (Reuters) - Telecommunications and technology company Motorola Inc. <MOT.N> has purchased an equity stake in 724 Solutions Inc. <SVN.TO> <SVNX.O>, whose products help secure on-line financial information, the companies said on Wednesday. The equity stake was purchased in conjunction with 724 Solutions's initial public offering in late January. Company officials were not immediately available to provide further details. 724 Solutions' products let financial institutions offer personalized and secure on-line banking, brokerage and e-commerce services across many Internet-enabled wireless and consumer electronic devices. Consumers can get financial information using digital mobile phones, personal digital assistants, two-way pagers and personal computers. Motorola also said that it plans to use 724 Solutions' products in a variety of its Internet-enabled wireless devices.
