Good warnings. I have also heard/read/saw warnings that state there is pressure on the researchers to "publish results" that might be premature just to generate news and push stock prices higher. There is some concern about "research ethics" also as the money is having in impact on what and when things get reported. Disclosure: I own no individual bio stocks or sector mutual funds. I have chosen to let my index and growth mutual funds that own the large companies do the work for me. Funny thing, but I really prefer to buy companies with real earnings that are accelerating.
