Re: NR NLC management obviously knows the market is awaiting news. So, this NR is not what the market is looking for, it is really filler. Unless I am missing something, how does a Canadian Patent relate or help close the three outstanding acquisitions? It also may be used to diffuse conflict and prepare for the AGM.

Another possibility is they are setting up for another NR. It is possible that they can get it out by Thursday, not Friday, Monday and maybe AGM Tuesday. But with this NR, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Conclusions from the NR:

1. issued shares creeping up to 20 million o/s

2. good to receive "notification of the allowance" of a Canadian patent. Does this mean patent granted?

3. the three deals are not done. Originally, 30 days DD then 90 days for financing. Now past 5th month and heading into the 6th.

4. FOG = fats oils and grease

5. "grow our Ontario vacuum truck collection services aggressively" Besides the patents, ORTI owns vacuum trucks and performs collection services. Hmmm.

6. new twist with IBR. Marry ORRS with IBR technology. This opens up some more questions. Is NLC in some way dependent upon the "IBR's proprietary technology that efficiently converts biodegradable waste into valuable end products"
What is it going to cost NLC, what overhead, is it another deal and what's it going to cost? What is the expected return?

5. "When NCS completes the pending acquisitions announced in Sept. 20, 1999" = Vancouver and Ontario vacuum truck deals are not done yet

6. "are very close to reaching final agreement" = acquisition of patents not done yet. (General contractors usually just say "2 weeks" :o) )

Loud and clear message. Discussion on Canadian Patents = three acquisitions not completed (delayed, pending, difficulties with owners or financing or dilution, one deal perhaps failed, etc)

Any comments or opinions? Stockhouse can't be the only vehicle for NLC discussion, err hype? Foggy.
