OK, addressing your edit, if 18% of the vote was dems, and McQueeg got 80% of that, it looks like Bush might have only eeked out a victory if dems were excluded.

You're absolutely correct!!!!! So go ahead and crown King George!! Maybe McCain will get the message and go run with the reform party!! LOL

You won't get Bush elected with Pat Robertson and his gang hitched to your wagon cause the Independents and Democrats
won't be on your side. Your party has already got itself entrenched in a right wing battle. It's going to be awfully hard for your nominee to move to the center in order to get elected in the national election.

Did anyone else hear the tapes of Pat Robertson's phone bank message "misrepresenting" various positions of McCain and his campaign manager?

According to ABC only 18% of the Michigan voters were Democrats. The rest were Independents and Republicans.
