You make a good observation about the deterioration in call premiums , jmac. It looks like there's a logarythmic relationship in play between premium price and stock price at various points in the month, which is why it seems more advantageous to me to write cc's adfter the first week of the current period of expiration: even if the stock stays the same in price, the premium deterioration will give a nice profit.

I sold the Mar 150's (AUACJ) on the second third of my QCOM position a few minutes ago.
