Some refer to the open and the time just after as "amateur hour." Because so many orders pile up it is usually a bad time to buy. Many people place orders when the market is closed and these are executed then. Also many people with "real jobs" tend to watch the market when it opens, place their trades and then go do other things. Prices often slip back between 10am and 11am. That's when the savvy traders on this thread should be buying. <g>

Of course, for LTB&H we're only talking pennies.
