AlGore is an extremist. He is allied with "Reverend" Al Sharpton. And his corruption is manifest.

Last time I looked, about the same % identified as Republican as Dem. Further, Independents traditionally lean Republican.

You forget that the Dems haven't achieved 50% of the presidential vote in decades. Not since 1976 and that was just barely. Before that you have to go back to 1964 and 1944.
