Jorj, NO RISK salaries in high tech junk is about the same a free market. On top of it there are option which are 40% to 50% of salary. Further those stocks sit mostly in pension funds, IRA, insurance companies etc. The higher cost of employement due to the dilution of stocks by exercising the option are on the shareholders. Silicon Alley or Silicon Valley earn salaries well above the average why they deserve more?? The other part of the economy is suffering. Haim
